 Centre Capacity Indicator

To address provincial capacity restrictions, CF will be sharing real-time capacity information across all CF shopping centres. In accordance with local government guidelines, CF reports capacity levels based on real-time information generated by Wi-Fi technology that detects the number of devices in an anonymous and aggregated way. This information is summarized and displayed on CF retail property sites via cfshops.com, based on the guide below:

• Not too busy: Enjoy your shopping experience as you normally would, while following all in-mall safety protocols

• Moderately Busy: Stores and corridors will be busier than usual; please be prepared for potential line ups.

• Busy: We may restrict access and begin limiting entry into the mall. Please expect delays and potential lineups outside.

LiVE by CF Shopping App

LiVE by CF is an all-in-one shopping app that provides guests with property-specific maps and icon-based navigation cues, including the location of hand sanitizing stations, to help plan the most efficient shopping routes. The app also acts as a mobile shopping companion that enables shoppers to build a list with their favourite products from retailers, access special offers, and even get inspiration from recommendations based on products they’re interested in.

To help guests pre-plan their visit, one of the latest features slowly being rolled out across all CF shopping centres allows them to plan a route with multiple stops, add suggested stops to their route, and select the shortest or least busy options for a seamless shopping experience.

CF Guest List

CF Guest List is a web-based line management tool that allows guests to pre-plan their trip to the mall or better navigate store visits when in-property. The beta app provides users with the ability to pre-book a time slot to visit specific stores, join a virtual queue while shopping at their local CF shopping centre, or easily arrange curbside order pickups. To further support capacity restrictions and curb retailer line-ups, CF is piloting appointment-based shopping at CF Lime Ridge with availability every 2 minutes and a designated mall entrance for guests using this service.

CF Eats

CF Eats is an online directory of restaurants and food retailers in Cadillac Fairview properties that offer takeout and delivery, which can be accessed via cfeats.ca, cfshops.com, and via our LiVE by CF app. As provincial governments have scaled back recovery plans amid growing case numbers, CF Eats is a helpful and safe solution to support our retailers’ transition to providing delivery and takeout services while keeping our communities safe.
