We’re proud to share that three Ontario properties were recently recognized at the 2021 race2reduce Commercial Real Estate Trailblazers (R2R CREST) Awards.

• CF Lime Ridge, Innovative Excellence Award The Innovative Excellence Award recognizes those who have deployed creative and effective approaches, strategies, technologies, etc. to achieve their energy and sustainability objectives.

• CF Fairview Mall, Collaborative Excellence Award The Collaborative Excellence Award honours the spirit of the race, in promoting collaboration between landlords and tenants to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. CF Fairview Mall has demonstrated collaborative efforts to bring together and engage stakeholders around issues pertinent to energy efficiency and sustainability.

• TD Centre West Tower, Performance Leadership Award in both Electricity and Water The Performance Leadership Award recognizes those that have demonstrated commitment to implemented measures to improve the performance of their building across four areas - electricity, gas, water and waste. TD Centre West Tower took home the award for improved performance in both the Electricity and Water categories.

Honourable mentions go out to RBC Centre/Simcoe Place for being named a finalist in the Innovative Excellence category and to TD Centre West Tower for being named a finalist in the Performance Leadership - Gas category.

The R2R CREST Awards honour participants from the race2reduce program that have demonstrated a continual commitment to improving building performance and reducing emissions. These accomplishments wouldn't be possible without the passionate dedication and effort made by the property teams and CREST team.
