Per our Employee Voice survey data, we know CF employees who feel included are 19 times more likely to be engaged and seven times more likely to feel positive about their wellbeing. According to CF employees, key values behaviours that reinforce inclusion at CF include: welcoming diverse perspectives; open and honest conversations; recognition and celebration; reciprocal relationships and connections, and coaching and development.

Inclusion & Diversity

Data is key for guiding our Inclusion & Diversity journey - both employee data and external benchmarks. Data helps us determine meaningful commitments, gauge our progress, and address actual versus assumed barriers to inclusion and diversity. Employee Wellbeing

We believe that when our employees thrive, so does our company and the communities we serve. That's why we take a holistic approach to employee wellbeing, focusing on emotional, social, physical, and financial dimensions. We gauge our progress through engagement surveys which cover topics such as general wellbeing, stress levels, work-life balance, and access to support. Our benefits plan is designed to be fair and inclusive, regularly reviewed by an independent third-party consultant. Recent enhancements include increased mental health support, wel-being days, and expanded investment options. We integrate well-being into our culture year-round, with initiatives like Blue Monday, Mental Health Week, and Financial Literacy Month, as well as workshops like Mental Health Leadership workshops and Personal Resilience building.

Developing & Supporting Our People

CF is committed to supporting employees’ professional growth and development through meaningful work experiences, coaching, and professional development opportunities. We offer a comprehensive CF Building Leaders program and its suite of workshops, Values Labs, and curated content to all employees. Professional development entails much more than workshop attendance, extending to on-the-job coaching, mentoring, “stretch” assignments, and experiences that challenge and foster learning and growth. CF employees are eligible for an annual tuition reimbursement to support further development and learning.
